Reward & Recognition

Employee commitment and capability is the first of Fujifilm’s six corporate goals and a cornerstone of our corporate philosophy. We value people and the contributions they provide toward our company’s success. Therefore, it is only appropriate that Reward and Recognition be a central focus of our corporate culture. Following are various elements of these programs:

The Images of Excellence Program recognizes and rewards our people for practicing company values and for the special contributions they make to improve and enrich our work environment and operational effectiveness. It also strengthens our emphasis on team orientation, since co-workers make all nominations.

There are three graduated levels of recognition: the Bronze Level, which is the entry level, recognizes values practiced; the Silver Level is for special contributions, and winners are selected by the recognition committee semi-annually; and the Platinum Level, the highest level of recognition, is awarded annually as well. Silver Level achievement is required for Platinum Level consideration and the winners are selected by the Senior Executive Committee. Platinum winners receive the Images of Excellence President’s Award, a company-sponsored trip, and special acknowledgement in the annual Images of Excellence Yearbook.

Through the Life Events Gift Program, we share in and celebrate the special events in the lives of our people – graduations, births, marriages, and retirements – by acknowledging them with the gift of a camera. The intent is that this lasting remembrance will provide a continuing bond between Fujifilm and its people.

The Employee Referral Program encourages our people to refer qualified candidates for career opportunities in the company. Successful referrals result in a referral bonus to the referring employee. We believe that our people are one of the best sources for identifying and attracting prospective employees. They understand our business, our culture, and our work ethic, which ensures the success of this program.

The Spot Awards Program encourages managers to periodically provide their people with a small cash award for a job well done. This program is intended to say thank you and to recognize extra effort.
