What Surprised You the Most About Fujifilm?
The biggest surprise is our division. I didn't know Fujifilm did anything with the printing industry. My husband is a pressman and now I understand what he does all day at work.
What You've Learned
My first manager at Fujifilm saw potential in me that I didn't even realize in myself. I've learned how to be a leader. I was very shy and quiet when I first got here and now I've learned how to speak up when I have to. These days I have my old mentor's job, she's been promoted, and we're still good friends.
Your Favorite Moment at Fujifilm
A group of Graphics Systems workers and I named ourselves "The Graphic Sisters." We used to get together for monthly meetings and all wear the same color sweaters. The meetings were the best, not just a chance to tackle issues, but also a good time to bond.
Anything You'd Like to Say to New and Prospective Fujifilm Employees?
Fujifilm is a great place to work. The people are wonderful and, like a family, they care about each other. There's a lot of advancement within the company; they open up a lot of doors for employees.

Going through the invoices. Coding them and getting them ready to submit

I'm training a new Fujifilm employee, so I try to give her as much time as possible. Walk her through charts and spreadsheets.

I'm kind of the central point person for my department, so if there is any discrepancy in the invoices, etc, I'm being contacted by now.

Putting out fires and providing information. Maybe I'll squeeze lunch in somewhere.
